The Daytona 500 starts February 26 –Enjoy while staying in one of our beach condos – St Augustine or Daytona Beach.
The Daytona 500 was established originally by Henry Flagler. He thought it was great fun to have car races on the beach to see who can break the record for the fastest car. It became a great attraction to lure tourists to this part of Florida. That history still remains but there no longer race on the beaches. Instead they race at the Daytona 500.
Daytona has a unique culture that is different from most other Florida beach towns.
They are also host to the Daytona Motorcycle Rally which is one of the largest motocycle events in the world. The streets buzz from the sound of the motorcycles and downtown Daytona the motorcycles line the street.
So come to the beach to enjoy everything that relates to the the history of Flagler and Daytona.
